Types of Numerology:
Chaldean Name Numerology:
This is the most accurate and ancient numerology system based on Indian Vedic Numerology (also known as Indian / Vedic / Ancient Babylon / Cherio / Keiro / Greek) which is developed by Chaldean, by considering Astrology as well.This Chaldean name numerology mainly concentrates on date of birth and its association with alphabets and its reference numbers.Pythagorean Name Numerology:

Below steps might be useful for you, in order to find the perfect name for your baby !!! NOTE: Following points are referred from various sources and combined together for better understanding.Step-1:
Do you believe in astrology and nakshatras ?? If yes, then you need to find the starting letters based on the DOB (Date Of Birth) of your baby first.Above link provides the starting letters for the name based on the 27 nakshatras.
Above link provides the information for which nakshatra belongs to which Rashi.
Let's take one example as reference.
Assume the baby is born on "Anusham" or "Anuraadha" naskhatra, then the starting letters are Na,Ni,Ne,Nu. (As per the above link). Based on the DOB and time of birth, you can easily find the nakshatra in online.If you don't believe Nakshatras, then you can skip step-1 and get your own starting letter and desired name.
Step-2:
Once you have chosen your desired name, now we are going to calculate numerology as per "Chaldean System" which is based on indian vedic system. Each alphabet will be assigned with number from 1 to 8. Assume the baby name is "NAMASVI" => born on "Anusham" nakshatra with first laknam. So "Na" is the starting letter. NAMASVI means "Goddess Parvati" and "Respectful with good virtues".
As per above system, the Name Number is calculated for NAMASVI is => 5+1+4+1+3+6+1 => 21 (Compound Number) => 2+1 => 3 (Name Number).
Hence the "Compound Number : 21" and "Name Number : 3".
NOTE: Instead of using "Initials. FirstName Last name" to calculate your name number, it is suggested to use "FirstName" for everything (numerology name, known name, calling name, pet name, short name, full name, and signature). It is suggested to calculate numerology for the name, which is being used for calling by everyone.
Now it's the time to calculate "Birth Number" and "Destiny Number" based on the DOB.
If the baby is born on 12-Oct-2018, then :
Birth Number is => 12 => 1+2 => 3
Destiny Number (Fate Number) is => 12-10-2018 => (1+2)+(1+0)+(2+0+1+8) => (15) => (1+5) => 6
Hence the "Birth Number : 3" and "Destiny Number : 6".

From above table, we need to find whether "Birth Number" and "Destiny Number" are harmonious with "Name Number".
NOTE: We cannot change our "Birth Number" and "Destiny Number" but we can change our "Name Number" by selecting the appropriate name.
In this example, "Birth Number is 3" and "Destiny Number is 6". Hence we need to find "Name Number" which is harmonious to both numbers.
From above table, 3 is harmonious with 3,1,2,9. But please note that, 6 is enemy with 1,2 and neutral with 3,9.
Hence, we need to find the name which is having "Name Number" either 3 or 9. NAMASVI is having "Name Number" as 3 which is exactly matching with "Birth Number: 3". So it is best name as per Chaldean numerology.

We can summarize the points to be remembered while calculating numerology for name. Make sure Birth Number and Destiny Number are harmonious/compatible with your Name Number. Select name accordingly.
